IPv6 Conference 2014 (http://www.ipv6.com.sg)
The IPv6 conference, organised by the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA), is a one-day event aimed at CxOs, Business Managers, Directors, Technology Movers and Shakers.
To support business continuity and to tackle IPv4 exhaustion, many companies have started planning for IPv6. Although IPv6 transition has started to accelerate, companies tend to lack awareness or ignore IPv6 security aspects. IPv6 is enabled by default on over half of the world's desktop operating systems. Companies on IPv4-only networks might not realise that IPv6 traffic unknowingly exists in the networks and can be exploited if due care is not taken. In light of rising cyber security threats, it is imperative for businesses to be aware of IPv6 security vulnerabilities and the mitigation measures to safely adopt IPv6.
